Taylor Swift has just bought a new house and planned to kit our her new house with trendiest furniture from London’s antiques shops. “I have just bought my first home in Nashville. So I will go out soon, and live alone for the first time in my life,” Taylor told German website Stern. “If I find some free time in London, I would like to buy furniture and accessories. I’ve heard that there are great antique shops in Portobello Road.”

Moving out from her parents’ house means she will get less supervision from them, but the singer who is currently linked to New Moon star Taylor Lautner claimed she is not worried about getting too loose with wild parties. Taylor who is currently live with her parents explained, “I am not the party type. I never drank alcohol in my life. It is not my thing. I like to keep a cool head and control.”

Swift, born in the borough of Wyomissing Pennsylvania, first released her debut single “Tim McGraw” in mid 2006 before then releasing her first self-titled album in October the same year. Taylor’s newest album “Fearless” which was released on November 11 last year, has won her several awards including 2009 Academy of Country Music Award for Album of the Year.

Taylor Swift talked to Us about Kayne West dissing her,

Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.

I’ve been getting so many text messages and everybody’s been really nice. So I’ve had a really, really fun night. It’s been interesting definitely. It’s definitely been an interesting night.. Taylor said she was once a fan of Kanye, ‘I don’t know him, and I’ve never met him, so… I don’t want to start anything because I had a great night tonight.’

On Beyonce inviting her on stage: ‘They told me to stand by the side of the stage, and I didn’t really know what was going to go down. But I thought it was so wonderful and gracious of her to do what she’s always done. She’s always been a great person before anything else. Before the talented artist, the superstar, she’s always been a great person and I just, I thought I couldn’t love Beyonce more tonight, than tonight.’

Taylor Swift praised Beyonce Knowles-Carter for her graciousness during a post-ceremony press conference for Sunday night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor was publicly humiliated while accepting her first-ever moonman, after Kanye West made history by climbing on-stage during her speech and telling the crowd that he believed Beyonce was the true winner in the Best Female Video category. “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he shouted.

Kanye’s characteristically childish outburst was greeted by boos and jeers from the Radio City Music Hall crowd, as a mortified Beyonce looked on from the audience. Taylor stood speechless as she held back tears as fans began chanting her name in support. Kanye was promptly asked to leave the ceremony by network execs — and rightfully so! Dear Kanye, What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. And tonight Ms Swift will be performing during the awards show. She told press, “I’m so excited that MTV and the VMAs have invited me to perform, because I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done!”

Taylor continued, “MTV has been so good to me, and I could not be more excited about this year’s VMAs.” This will be Swift’s first ever performance on the VMAs.”
